Directions to the LIfBi

By train (about 10 to 15 minutes' walk)

• Take the road down 'Luitpoldstraße' opposite the main entrance of Bamberg railway station.
• Follow this road and pass the canal bridge. Then, turn left onto 'Heinrichsdamm'.
• After 300 meters, you will reach a second canal bridge, named 'Marienbrücke'.
• The historical 'Wilhelmspost' is now on your right, at the corner of 'Heinrichsdamm'/'Wilhelmstraße'.

By car

Coming from Autobahn A73:

• Exit Autobahn A73 at 'Bamberg Ost'.
• Stay on 'Pödeldorfer Straße' and follow the signs to 'Innenstadt' (city center).
• After 4.5 kilometers you will pass the canal bridge, named 'Marienbrücke'.
• Turn left onto 'Heinrichsdamm' directly after the canal bridge.
• The historical building 'Wilhelmspost' is now on your right.

Coming from Autobahn A70:

• Exit Autobahn A70 at 'Bamberg' and take the 'Berliner Ring' to 'Innenstadt' (city center).
• Stay on this road. After 3.5 kilometers, turn right onto 'Starkenfeldstraße'
• Follow this road for another 2 kilometers.
• After having passed the canal bridge 'Marienbrücke', turn left onto 'Heinrichsdamm'.
• The historical building 'Wilhelmspost' is now on your right.
