The Leibniz Institute for Educational Trajectories (LIfBi) once again invites to an open-topic conference with current findings in empirical educational research.
On December 11 and 12, 2025, the 10th NEPS Conference will take place as an on-site event in Bamberg. The focus of this anniversary event will be on analyses based on data from the National Educational Panel Study (NEPS), with its seven starting cohorts and its broad spectrum ranging from competence development over the life course, educational processes and educational decisions in different learning environments to returns on education. Researchers from Germany and abroad, from different disciplines and at different stages of their academic careers are welcome to present their work and discuss current findings in the form of both paper and poster presentations. In addition to the paper sessions and the poster session, there will also be a keynote lecture and a small reception. With the format “Meet the NEPS Experts”, the conference offers a new service for participants.
