7th International NEPS Conference

December 5-6, 2022 | LIfBi | online

The NEPS conference series of the Leibniz Institute for Educational Trajectories (LIfBi) brings together scientists from different disciplines and from different stages of their academic careers to discuss current projects in educational research. The National Educational Panel Study (NEPS) sets the thematic framework with its six panel cohorts covering the entire life span and the focuses on competence development, educational processes in different learning environments, educational decisions and social inequality, acquisition of education, returns to education, as well as motivational and personality-related aspects.

For the seventh time now, LIfBi cordially invites the scientific community to an international NEPS conference. Empirical contributions on all mentioned topics, including methodological issues, are appreciated. Paper or poster presentations are not limited to NEPS data. Findings based on other data sources – preferably longitudinal studies – will also be discussed. Conference language is English. The program will also include a keynote lecture by Prof. Regina T. Riphahn, Ph.D. (Friedrich-Alexander-University Erlangen-Nuremberg) and the traditional award ceremony for the best NEPS publication of the past year.

IMPORTANT: Due to the expected contact limitations in winter, the organizers have decided to conduct the conference one again as an online event. The necessary information for virtual participation via Zoom will be provided to all registered persons in due time.
