10/25/2022

The program of the 7th International NEPS Conference of LIfBi with more than 50 presentations, several posters, a keynote by Prof. Regina T. Riphahn, Ph.D., and an honorary lecture by the winners of the "NEPS Publication Award" has been finalized. The conference will be held in virtual format on December 5 and 6, 2022.

For the seventh time, the Leibniz Institute for Educational Trajectories (LIfBi) invites the scientific community to an international NEPS conference. The complete program has now been published: More than 50 exciting presentations from Germany and abroad are registered this year.

As part of the now traditional ceremony of the "NEPS Publication Award", for the best publication of the past year based on NEPS data and endowed with 1,000 EUR, the award winners will give an honorary lecture.

The keynote lecture will be held by Prof. Regina T. Riphahn, Ph.D., FAU Erlangen-Nuremberg, on "Subsidized small jobs and maternal labor market outcomes in the long run". The rich program will be rounded off by a poster presentation and a virtual get-together: At the end of the conference, the opportunity is offered for an informal exchange and direct contact with the team of the LIfBi Research Data Center. Participation in the conference is free of charge, registration is required.

The annual NEPS conferences bring together researchers from different disciplines and at different stages of their scientific careers to discuss current educational research projects. The thematic framework is the National Educational Panel Study (NEPS). However, contributions to the conference are not necessarily linked to NEPS data.
