The Leibniz Institute for Educational Trajectories (LIfBi) is giving out a competitive award for excellent scientific works carried out on the basis of data from the National Educational Panel Study (NEPS). The award comes with a prize money of 1,000 EUR and is usually presented during the regularly held NEPS conferences.
Nomination
Participation in the competition for the NEPS Publication Award requires prior nomination. Nominations can be submitted by anyone—that is, self-nominations are also possible and welcome.
Criteria
-
The publication is based on analyses with data from the National Educational Panel Study (NEPS, including NEPS-ADIAB).
-
Working and discussion papers as well as expert reports and journalistic articles are excluded.
-
The article was published in the previous year. Online-first articles are accepted if they are indexed by a DOI or similar.
-

Selection Process
An interdisciplinary scientific jury consisting of members of the LIfBi senior management and the nationwide NEPS Network will decide on the prize winner from among all nominated publications.
