NEPS Publication Award

The Leibniz Institute for Educational Trajectories (LIfBi) is giving out a competitive award for excellent scientific works carried out on the basis of data from the National Educational Panel Study (NEPS). The award comes with a prize money of 1,000 EUR and is presented every year during the regularly held NEPS conferences.

Criteria

  • The publication is based on analyses with NEPS data.

  • Working and discussion papers as well as expert reports and journalistic articles are excluded.

  • The article was published in 2022. Online-first articles are accepted if they are indexed by a DOI or similar.

  • The publication has not been nominated for the NEPS Publication Award at any former time.

Selection Process

An interdisciplinary scientific jury consisting of members of the LIfBi senior management and the nationwide NEPS Network will decide on the prize winner from among all nominated publications. The author(s) of the award-winning publication will be informed immediately after the selection process and will be announced on this website and in the LIfBi newsletter.
