The current Scientific Use File (doi:10.5157/NEPS:SC4:14.0.0) contains newly added data from the fourteenth wave of the Starting Cohort of ninth-graders. The field period ranged from September 2021 to October 2022. The survey consisted of a computer-assisted telephone interview (CATI) to update the life history data, including the completion of a follow-up online questionnaire (CAWI), and - if consent was given in the CATI interview - a computer-based processing (TBT) of tasks in the competence domains of natural sciences and computer knowledge within the framework of a personal interview (CAPI) in the respondent's household. Due to the Corona situation, the CAPI field had to be stopped from November 2021 to April 2022. Detailed information about the content and the realization of this survey wave can be found in the corresponding Field Report on the website in the section „Documentation“. On this website you will also get the Release Notes with information about relevant adjustments regarding the data preparation as well as the Study Overview, in which the development of the panel study is summarized with wave-specific information on the group of respondents, the realized case numbers and the survey modes.
