In the course of this meeting, Dr. Jutta von Maurice, Executive Director of Research at the LIfBi, emphasized the diverse potentials of the NEPS by presenting a selection of results. The scientific contribution that the LIfBi can make especially toward the understanding and the development of the educational sector in the region was explained by Dr. Michaela Sixt, Coordinator of the project “Educational Landscape of Upper Franconia (Bildungslandschaft Oberfranken, BiLO)”.

“It is especially important for me that we establish greater justice and solidarity in our country. In particular, this means equal opportunities in education. The LIfBi makes an invaluable contribution toward realizing this objective,” Schwarz pointed out, summing up his perception of the work at the LIfBi.

It was not for the first time that Andreas Schwarz, MP, had visited the LIfBi. Since 2013, he has been one of two Members of the German Parliament representing the electoral district of Bamberg in the German Parliament (Bundestag), and he is a Member of the Financial Committee as well as Chairman of the 4th Committee of Inquiry of the 18th Legislative Period that is responsible for tax evasion in the context of so-called Cum/Ex-Dividend Deals.
