Intensive exchange on research findings at the First International NEPS User Conference

7/15/2016
With more than 60 researchers participating, the First International NEPS User Conference took place at the Leibniz Institute for Educational Trajectories (LIfBi) in Bamberg on July 7 and 8, 2016.
The NEPS User Conference, which was organized for the first time, offered researchers of various disciplines a welcome opportunity to exchange ideas on their work with data of the National Educational Panel Study. In numerous papers and poster presentations, empirical findings of 40 research projects were presented and discussed with a broad professional audience. The range of topics included all six NEPS starting cohorts and ranged from typical questions of longitudinal educational research across analyses of competence development to methodological contributions.
