LIfBi at the 16th EARLI Conference

8/31/2015
From August 25 to 29, 2015, the 16th conference of the European Association for Research on Learning and Instruction (EARLI) took place in Limassol, Cyprus. The Leibniz Institute for Educational Trajectories (LIfBi) presented its work at the conference through contributions by staff members from Bamberg and from the NEPS Network, as well as displaying information at its own exhibition booth.
At the LIfBi booth, conference attendees were informed about the free-to-use data pool of the National Educational Panel Study (NEPS) in particular, but also discussed cooperation, contributing their own modules to the NEPS, or exchanging of best practices. The diversity of the data offered, the great potential of the NEPSplorer, as well as the offer to take away semantic NEPS data sets were welcomed enthusiastically. The LIfBi is pleased with the very positive feedback and is looking forward to welcoming many new data users.
