As he pointed out during his inaugural visit of the Wilhelmspost, the State Secretary had been following with great attention the development and institutionalization of the National Educational Panel Study (NEPS) while performing different roles in various departments over the years.

During the visit, Director of LIfBi, Prof. Dr. Hans-Günther Roßbach, presented latest findings based on NEPS data on the development of competencies, language acquisition, and determinants of the appropriation of high culture. All these findings are of practical relevance to politics.
