After a welcome address and introductory lecture by Prof. Dr. Hans-Günther Roßbach, Dr. Yang presented the Korean Education & Employment Panel Survey (KEEP), which is situated at KRIVET. KEEP was launched in 2004 and is comparable to NEPS Starting Cohort 4 in terms of its population. Hence, a lively exchange of ideas with the Korean guest ensued after Dr. Michaela Sixt had explained the design and fieldwork of NEPS using the example of Starting Cohort 4 in her presentation. Daniel Bela reported on data editing, data protection, and data access in the NEPS study and was able to present the benefits of the NEPS remote-access solution during a hands-on session. Dr. Yang was very impressed by the complexity of the processes, the number of participants, and the mass of data on offer by NEPS.
