NEPS at the second meeting of the international Network on Extracurricular and Out-of-School Time Educational Research (NEO ER)

On May 13-14, several representatives of the National Educational Panel Study (NEPS) participated in the second meeting of the international Network on Extracurricular and Out-Of-School Time Educational Research (NEO ER) at the castle of Rauischholzhausen at the University of Gießen.
 

Researchers from Germany, Japan, Korea, the Netherlands, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, the United Kingdom, and the USA met at the castle of Rauischholzhausen in order to present and discuss the findings of their research on the subject "Extended Education and Social Inequality". Prof. Ludwig Stecher (University of Gießen) presented, among other things, results based on NEPS data in his talk on "Extended Education as Part of Families’ Social Reproduction Strategies".

The NEPS and its consortium partners were represented by Prof. Dr. Eckhard Klieme (DIPF, Frankfurt), Prof. Dr. Ludwig Stecher and Andrea Hopf (University of Gießen), Dr. Christine Steiner (DJI, Munich), and Tobias Linberg (University of Bamberg) at this meeting.
