Guest Lecture by Mark Keese, OECD

2/8/2012
Mark Keese, OECD, visited the National Educational Panel Study (NEPS) to report on the measurement of adults’ competencies within the scope of PIAAC (Programme for the International Assessment of Adult Competencies).

From the point of view of labor market economics, he raised some important questions about the correlation between competencies and the labor market which the PIAAC data will be able to address in the future, including even international comparisons. At the end of the lecture, participants discussed excitedly about what PIAAC and NEPS can learn from each other.
