The INBIL welcomes 28 new members

At the 3rd general meeting of the members of the Institute for Longitudinal Educational Research (INBIL), located at the University of Bamberg, 28 members´ applications were unanimously adopted. The institute now comprises a number of 141 members.

Prior to the vote on the members´applications, the Managing Director of the INBIL, Prof. Dr. Dr. h. c. Hans-Peter Blossfeld informed about the current projects of the INBIL (NEPS, BiKS, PERLE, eduLIFE); the ESE (“Educational Aspirations, Social Capital, and Educational Decisions at the End of Lower Secondary School”) project, which is still in its application phase; as well as the DFG Priority Programme “Education as a Lifelong Process” and provided information about the 3rd meeting of the INBIL Board of Trustees which took place on May 12th, 2011.

After the meeting, the annual summer festival took place in the inner yard of the Wilhelmspost.
