The Leibniz Institute for Educational Trajectories (LIfBi) honors outstanding scientific work based on data from the National Educational Panel Study (NEPS) with a publication prize. The annual award is endowed with prize money of EUR 1,000. The award ceremony takes place during the NEPS conferences, which are also held annually. It is combined with a public "LIfBi Lecture" by the award winner(s). The selection is based on nominated publications from the previous year.
